Dimesplitism is an ism which states that each dimension can be experienced in different ways. That is to say, each of the numbered dimensions may take different forms. The different forms manifest depending on the perspective of the observer.

A simple example would involve a spatial dimension, say length. Imagine standing beside a bus and observing its length. If you move and stand in front of the bus, that dimension becomes the breadth. This interchangability applies to all of the spatial dimensions, as well as time and the fifth dimension, though they are certainly much more difficult to conceptualize!
